Saratoga County Bike Trail Photos

The Zim Smith Trail in early Spring and after recent bridge construction:

A good starting place:
Shenantaha Park, Malta, NY

 The park has a playground, picnic pavilions, and restrooms (in season). There are no other restrooms on the trail.

Standing on the trail looking back at the plentiful parking. This section of trail is paved. The trail crosses under I-87.

The trail has a new bridge to cross over
the Round Lake bypass ramp.		 As the trail enters picturesque Round Lake,
it turns to stone dust and gravel.

Round Lake has numerous lovely homes. The trail, stone dust at this point, uses an old steel railroad bridge to cross Rt. 9.
