Scavenger Hunt
Welcome to Saratoga Healthy Transportation's scavenger hunt web page. We are excited to present our 1st annual downtown scavenger hunt in beautiful Saratoga Springs, NY.
Date: May 9, 2009 (Saturday)
Arrival time: 10 am registration; the hunt begins at 10:30 am.
Gathering place: Grassy knoll behind the Church of St. Peter on Broadway (approach and parking on Hamilton Street behind the church)
Time for the Hunt: 3 hours -- 10:30 to 1:30
Cost: $10 for adults (18+) and $5 for children
The hunt benefits the bike giveaway project that we sponsor with the Saratoga County EOC and all proceeds will be used to purchase helmets and bike parts.
Bicycle option: A separate set of clues will be provided for bicyclists with a route that expands beyond downtown -- also 3 hours

We invite teams and families alike to compete against each other. This promises to be one of the most fun 3 hours you have ever spent! you will scour the city to find answers to our many riddles and clues and even be asked to perform some outlandish tasks at some businesses for extra points.
We strongly encourage participants to come in costumes. Great prizes will be awarded for costumes and high scores alike.
We also strongly encourage you to come by healthy transportation for the hunt. We will have safe, secure bicycle storage while you spend your time out hunting. If possible, leave your car at home!!
We will have discount coupons available for a quick lunch at local eateries or bring a brown bag lunch and relax in Congress Park at lunch time.
The hunt is on -- rain or shine.
